WHO IS KANVEE ADAMS?
Kanvee Adams is a multiple award-winning artiste, and a veteran of 16 gospel music albums. She is a Liberian – Nigerian based artiste signed to DAAR Music Global -a subsidiary of DAAR Communications limited.
THE JOURNEY TO NIGERIA
The official unveiling of both Kanvee Adams and DAAR Music Global was held both in Lagos and Abuja respectively on the 13th and 15th of May 2019.
Her album titled “HOSANNA” as well as 3 beautiful videos namely; Mama, Daily Prayer and Hosanna is produced by DAAR record label. Aside 15 albums released previously in Liberia.
WHY SINGING?
Kanvee is not singing because others are doing so. She ventured into her career when she received the call from God and since then, she has been on fire for the Lord. Her love and passion for God plays a major role in caring for those in need through her song’s ministration and humanitarian activities.
OTHER WORKS OF KANVEE ADAMS
She is an outstanding African fashion designer and a humanitarian, providing Scholarship, food and clothing for more than 75 less fortunate children, as well as care for old folks in Liberia. In June 2010, Adams presented a cheque of $77,000.00LD to 25 students in their district and also provided funding for students in other parts of Montserrado County during the launch of her scholarship.
Amb Kanvee is currently working with a Local NGO, Charity Liberia in providing support like clothing, medical, etc. to old folks (old people) in Montserrado County and Margibi County. In January 2013, Adams brought an investor (Ashley Chamber) to Liberia, who invested 40 million dollars and create thousands of jobs but was thwarted due to difficulties from authorities involved. As the District Representative, Kanvee is determined to bring back the investor and more investors for more job creation. She is currently involved in community developmental projects in District #6 Montserrado county including; drainage, pipe borne water and other projects in Paynesville City. She is currently the Founder/Head (Kanvee Adams International Ministries Inc.) Legally registered in Liberia and the United States of America.

HER GOAL IN NIGERIA
Adams did not come to Nigeria for competition with anyone but with God on her side; she has what it takes to make delible mark in the Nigerian music scene. She said “It is divine intervention and connection that I joined DAAR Music; which is a noble record label any topnotch artiste is dreaming to be signed on. The advertisement and branding opportunities with DAAR Global is enormous and I thank deeply thank God for choosing me. I have already relocated to Nigeria for the real deal and already enjoying the hospitality.
ANY DISCOVERY IN NIGERIA?
According to Kanvee, there is a huge difference between the Nigerian and Liberian music industry. Talents are everywhere but Nigeria has a large population, attention and a fruitful market which is the hub of music in Africa. “Acceptance is key to me and I pray the masses accept me and my songs as we do for Nigerian artistes in Liberia” By virtue of her credibility as an established gospel music act, the delectable singer is confident she would find a footing on the competitive gospel music scene in Nigeria.
FAMILY LIFE & MUSIC
Regardless of being married with three kids, the gospel singer had not allowed her responsibilities as a wife and mother to affect her love for music. She noted, “It is multi-tasking and requires the grace to make right priorities. I still play my role as a housewife, mother and a singer and I thank my family for their support anytime and always.

At the event, she saw off competitions from top-notch African musicians including the likes of Nigeria’s Teni, South Africa’s Kelly Khumalo, Kenya’s Olivia Ambani among others, to be awarded the “Songwriter of The Year in Africa” and the “Best Female Artiste, Duo or Group in African Inspirational Music” respectively.
Kanvee’s newly released songs, ‘Daily Prayers’ and ‘Mama (Reloaded)’ won two categories out of three nominations. The other being ‘Best Female Artiste in Western Africa’ was won by Nigeria’s superstar Tiwa Savage. As the winner of AFRIMA, Kanvee is rated on the A-list as far as music is concern in Africa.

(Laughs and excitement) Receiving the award, she exclaimed: “I thank everyone for supporting me through your votes, prayers and best wishes. We did it!! Thanks to the strong man behind me, Mr. Emmanuel Koko Adams, for your love and tireless support. Kudos to High Chief Raymond Dokpesi who saw a great gem in me and availed himself to be used to raise me up. Thanks to my Liberian-Nigerian people for making me proud. This is our victory.
